Las Salinas de Torrevieja
A lagoon of 1,400 hectares whose water carries 300 to 350 grams of salt per litre, about ten times the sea. That salt is what turns it pink, and the flamingos that feed here take their colour from the same source. It is a working salt works as well as a protected natural park, and bathing in it, mud baths included, is prohibited.

Twenty minutes from the pink lake
